The Greenie
Without a movement
Without a light
Without a sound
She blends into the night
With each inhale she takes
With each exhale she gives
The land beneath her feet
Pulsates & lives
Everyone knows her very being
But no one knows her name
Or who she is when seeing
In the brightness of day
She walks in the crowd
Perfectly blended into the loud
Then darkness shall fall
And she walks through the streets
On one and once again on
Until without a blink she is gone
The colors of the land
Flow through her veins
Some might say she is black
But I among few know she is green
