Moonlight Movie Pools
So in a moment he's on it
like a kid on his dinner
he scoops it up
spoonful after spoonful
of moonlight movie pools
he eats them
like pringles
he pops
then cant stop
cigarettes and cool clothes
hanging from his elbows
slangs and games
ooze from his lips
down though his finger tips
and onto the necks
of his fiddle sticks
and girly whips
That he hordes
for the moment
then lets go
once he's too bored
and waits for
a moment
again
like a kid too that's full
that wont eat his vegetables
they make him stronger
but he just don't want em'
One foot off the merry-go-round
He'll fall to the ground
And on his back
He'll look up in
the moment
with hazy eyes
towards the night's sky
and realize
Fantasies die
and reality is a
bigger
better
surprise
