The Hypnotizing Water
June 9, 2009
As I step my foot into the sand
My feet become warm instantly;
Seagulls sing to my ears
The sweet hypnotizing lullaby;
And as I look into the ocean
The waves are calling me, and
Breaking against the shoreline
Gracefully, like twirling ballerinas;
As the water reaches my feet
I’m filled with a sudden urge
To walk into the water, deeper;
I’m pulled under.
The hypnotizing water.
