Dear Life.....I have become someone...

Early was the morning, waking to the vivid rays of sunshine, tears dried, and strength regained. I became something new...the season had changed. No longer had winter dereiled its pitties upon my spirit anymore.No longer had April drowned me in its showers. It was May and i could feel myself blossom. I woke up asking you to hold on, because i was ready to walk along with you.... no longer wanting to be dragged along your dust tracks. After seeing the worse of you, i opened my eyes to the best you had to offer me....

Sometimes, i've run away from love unknown......
not moral love......love within myself....
scarred of me....
but u invited {them} in....good people...
soft and loving when i needed them to be,
hard and tough when they needed to be.....

Smiling at every joy that creeps within me,
the warmth of the sun,
reminded of how i should cherish you and those you gave to me...
for awhile it felt like you were gone,
but what little did i know...
you were there waiting on me to say...
"Life...hold on...i'm ready."

You've molded me into who i am today..
you've forced me to love who i am and even who i was...
you made not regret anything i did within you....
