Amnesia MAG

By Anonymous

I don’t remember
God.
I don’t remember
Receiving life,
Receiving a soul.
I don’t remember
Evolving;
Being naturally selected;
Being mutated.
I don’t remember
What’s in the dark
To fear.
I don’t remember
The sun
Ever saving me
From pain.
I don’t remember
Black or white
Because the world
Is gray.
Filled
With outlines
On the chart,
Drifting through
A world of
Schizophrenia,
Dementia,
And amnesia
Deciphering
Lies to truth,
Trying to expunge
The gray.

Just another casualty.
It's sad but true.
And even dead I'm still ahead
of most of you.

Wow. Really powerful I think. Even with those few words.

Great job!
