"I came, I saw, I conqued."

death is like a little monster
a little evil monster
it crawls inside your body
and rips it all apart
it makes you sad
it makes you lonely
it makes you quake
and shake with fear
you have to battle
that little monster
slowly you will win
anbd when you do you will be happy
you will rebuild your life
and be happy agian

Bookworm, Your poem really makes be feel the agony losing someone. The use of the monster simile works well because death is unknown to all of us but scary. I'm glad you ended on a positive note and gave us hope for overcoming grief.
