See Right Through you
Blank stare, no words
Nervous biting of the lip
When I ask for some truth
I finally get it
Wasteless effort at this point
To dig up meaningless words
Running away from awkwardness
I can see now
As if you are a ghost
Where you stand or “float”
Now one can only guess
This time isn’t the first
Shooting lies like daggers
Piercing right into me
Feeling every stab
Except now the numbing agent
Losing its effect
I am now more than aware
Of what you really mean and think
