Lost Thoughts

Every time I close my eyes
I see the world inside my mind,
painting pictures with these words
that can only be seen in the dark.
And after thinking - I can't stop-
walking in circles around the clock
because I see the sunset cause
the death of brightness in my thoughts.
So until the day I choose to die
with all this hope inside my heart,
I chose to rest my mind and life
after trying to turn words into art.
So as I wait for death to come,
patiently and lonely in the dark,
I'll eternally keep asking god
to brighten my path because I'm lost.
