Why can't life ever care about me?
Why am I always suffering?
I need an escape
I need something more.
Countless arguments draining dry eyes sore.

Only this paper knows how the story goes,
A child ignored and a family far torn

Why can’t everything be like it used to be?
We were all a happy family.
I need some place to go, to get away.
I can’t stay here any longer, have to get out.

Only this paper knows how the story goes,
A longing for freedom and happiness

So the ending comes around eventually,
She got out and is living her dream.
After time the paper faded,
So did everything it stated,
But the story will live on in our souls

Now only the people know,
How the story goes.
