“Eye of the Tiger” while working out
Jason Mraz while lying about

Ne-Yo is synonymous with romance
Slow songs while at the Homecoming dance

Country music makes you oddly happy
Save Cartel for when you’re feeling crappy

Styx for when you’re guitaring in the air
There’s always a time for White Tie Affair

Itunes cards received as a birthday gift
Jordin Sparks for when in need of a lift

Archuleta for when thinking of “him”
Rap is the choice before Phelps takes a swim

Nineties music for when you reminisce
Of course you rock out to some classic Kiss

Kris Allen’s new song for inspiration
Paramore to get rid of frustration

“Pomp and Circumstance” when saying goodbye
Walk down the aisle to “Here Comes the Bride”

Each stage in life comes with a certain beat.
And knowing what it is is extra sweet!

I love alll the references you made to the modern music scene! This peice is so true, for every song there is a moment!!That was amazing, it wasn't overly serious, but it wasn't too light either. Absolute perfection.

P.S I love the Paramore reference! Are you excited for brand new eyes?
