16 years young & 18 years old
I try to forget what happened,
The morning of September 21, 2007.
That day haunts me,
Its taunts me,
I won’t ever forget,
But again I want to at times.
It might be the fact you didn’t go,
Now should’ a 16 year old go through this
All her lonesome.
Your 18 “Big Man” that’s least what you told me.
“Everything will be okay baby”,
Are the words I’ll never forget,
But again I want to at times.
Its might also deal with
What we talk about what,
Would a’…
Could a’…
Happened.
It hurt me,
My heart,
My soul,
To know you still kinda care,
But why weren’t you ever there?
Was it the drinking?
The new “Jessica”?
Or maybe it was cause
Your 18,
And didn’t believe in us.
That must be it.
Please just admit
You helped,
And you never dealt
With what this brought on,
I should a knew,
But wait,
It might have been the fact
I’m 16 years young and…
Your 18 years old.
You’re such a “Big Man” right?
I’ll never forget,
But again I want to at times.
