You stare at me with dreams breathing
in and out of your nose like you are under water,
You kick your legs, and I realize I’m wet too,
and I’m wrapped in your arms,
We sit on the beach and wonder
what it’s all about, the sun rises and sets
Just like today is tomorrow’s yesterday,
I feel tears when I watch sand fall through my fingers
because nothing ever stops, there is no pause to our pulse,
We thunder through each other like a river, a sea
taking everything under,
There are no survivors
when there are two people,
We watch for each other
and wish for each other,
But we can never become one another
though I wish we were just
One being
One soul,
I try and thread my hand through yours
begin to sort through our dreams,
Only to find your dreams are empty of me
and you don’t bother to ask me what the matter is
when I walk away and drop your hand.

I like how the good emotion comes through, the love but at the end it shows just how empty he really is to it. It's good- frightfully true in some cases :)
