From Deep Dripping Dark
Tell me what it is
It’s dark and it’s deep and its untouchably
Buried and hidden and all so sudden
Emerging, converging
From blankness of state of mind
So stable, and steady, and promised forever
Means never
I challenge this darkness, this deepness
This quickness of flitter of fate
To gravitate in different directions
Again and again
I’ll fight for what hurts you, what pulls you
What tears you
What makes you look into my eyes and say
That it needs to be this way
Because it doesn’t
And I know it, and I feel it, and can tell you about it
With a clarity and serenity that is mine alone
Dive into it and through it
And when you arise
Shadow covered and dripping
I will be there standing
Dry, waiting, holding
A single string that I hope
May be strong enough to lure you out of your
Own churning
Mind.
