The seconds tick by,
seeming to go faster and faster

She calls for the ball,
praying she gets it in time.

In the back of her mind
she knows it's all up to her.

Her teammate finally
passes her the ball.

Down by one point,
she shoots and the ball
soars through the air
and into the net.
Her team picks her up
as if she were a queen.
The team has just won the championship.
