She's laying in a grassy field
Staring longingly at the sky
hoping to find pictures in the clouds
or at least her imagination.
She's laying there wishing
the sun would dissolve her to the ground
so she can become part of the grass.
Murmuring stories into the breeze.
She's wishing too much.
For right now she's only a girl in a field
Staring longingly at the sky
hoping to find pictures in the clouds.
