Snow White Woods

June 4, 2009
By Anonymous

White blankets of snow over hills of frozen flowers.
Browning trees that brush the sky are in front of me.
White covers lay upon pillows of brown, dying trees.
Fierce pulling winds make my hair billow behind me like a personal cloud.
snow, crunching and munching softly beneath my feet
Excitement bubbles like lava in my stomach.
Baby quietness and peacefulness rest under the canopy of the frozen forest.
Bark beneath my finger tips,
Long frozen creek beneath my boots.
Fur frozen and fringed stuck to a hunting fox.
I taste bitter from the cold.
No one will hunt me now.
No one
I am free
I am the winter wolf
