Silence Lingers
It over comes all
All who are buried in the graves
They cry for help but nobody comes
A scream is heard and another joins them
Joins the shouts and yells for freedom
Silence Lingers
The spirits cry
The spirits scream
Nobody hears them
That’s what it seems
Another scream
Another joins the shouts and yells for freedom
Silence Lingers
No more screams
No more yells
For no one seems to hear them
A million screams for freedom and joy are lost
Lost to all buried in the graves
