He expected me to be the best that I can be
He expected you to love with out holding back
He expected us to grasp all the beauties in life to see
He expected me to respect myself and all my elders to
He expected you to try and never slack
He expected us to hold each other when we were down and blue
He expected me to excel in life
He expected you to keep your head up and stay on track
He expected us to live without strife
Oh all he ever expected was the best for me and you.
