I am from man for mars and the park./ From Father of Mine to Fly. /From ruby tricks and power games./ From the door to the left to the one down the street. /From my mother's leg to queen of the yard. /From the youngest to most behaved and enjoyed. /From delicious ziti and annoying shopping. /From the street lights to dinner and back again. /I am from crazy moves and matches on Thursdays. /The dirt road, Krauzers, McDonalds, and mischief./

I am from the window at that restaurant. /From the long driveways to the doorbell with the gun. /From old memories to new beginnings./ From marker and pleasant. / I am from jump rope and patrolling./ Drama and unfortunate events./ From the power of three and bedtime stories that ended long ago./ The coming and going but never staying./

From new people to old people./ From the summer on the deck./ The crazy things we did with her./ From habits that were never broken./ I am from leaving and missing./ From forgetting and moving on./ From the good times that will always be remembered./

From walking home to crazy nights./ From best friends and insane fights./ Never want it to end./ From fat lip, drive, and making amends./ I am from nothing but hanging with my best friends./
