Room shaped a square

Brown walls, green door

Jackets on the ground

Girls curled up

With their heads down.

Silence louder than the fan section.

Sniffles here and there

My heart heavy like an anchor

As I see disappointment on my teammates' faces.

Leaving the locker room with wet eyes,

Walking up the stairs

All eyes on us.
