Broke up on Valentines Day

I'm still shocked that we aren't together 
I thought that you'll hold onto my heart forever
I don't want anyone toxic like your CO2 dear
But you're the person in my mind as my lover
I fell for the way you bought me that flower
Then, I didn't realise your smile was cunning and not clever
I thought you'd reciprocate but you made my life a terror
I ain't glad that we broke up on Valentines day; it made my romantic movie of life a horror 

After that day, when I approached you, you kept avoiding me
Can't we be friends like how other ex-couples be?
Why can't you change? Why can't you see?
That when I'm glum, the sight of you makes me glee
And still, I want a kind guy, to invite me for tea 
If you be that guy, who understands me from a to z
There shall be no one happier than moi, baby
I still ain't glad that we broke up on valentines day 
but you treated me like hell, and I still love you
Will you please come to my arms, apologise and be that guy with the heart of gold, showing me that my love for you was true?

Because I never was glad that we broke up on valentines day,
but you're the person who made me dismay
and even then, I still love you in the same old way
