A Smile From An Angel
My precious soft sweet angel
With wings so soft and light
Is in a place called heaven,
away from me tonight
Her wind is the whisper
and her eyes are what I see
Continue walking
through the gardens of hope
I see her look at me
I glance above the clouds
And imagine her smiling down at me
Heat of the sunrise
as the morning wakes
the gentle relief that hits me
when i see her fragile face
the image of her beauty
distracts me with such power
shes as gentle as a dove and about as soft as a flower
what it’d be like for her to hear me
sing every song
speak every word
be able to just feel free
i can hope that god will let her dreams come true
and that the north star will guide me
that when it comes to lifes hard times he'll know where to find me.
For Her wind is the whisper
and her eyes are what I see
I glance above the clouds
And she is smiling down on me.
