I remember the cool nights and the warm days
and grilling out and the smell of fresh cut
grass and bonfires until late in the night
and going boating and cat fishing and
drank cool refreshing ice tea and
thought
that we had all the time in the world
and never knew that those days would soon be over.
I want to go back to these summer days.
