To the ones who took me under there wings
As a teenager
Shielded and protected me
My dear Grandfather and Grandmother
There hearts are abundant with love, joy and gratefulness
Which shows no regrets of there decisions
There so strong when it comes to anything that life throws there way
They know just how to handle matters
They know which battles to choose that are worth fighting
And which ones that aren’t worth the worry
They keep things settle between the whole Family
My dear grandmother knows just the perfect words to say to make
Any situation better
Brighten my day
Or heal wounded heart from a bad injury
She knows how to love and show love perfectly
My grandmother is my best friend
Though she may not know it, now she does
I can truly say that I hope to someday be
Only half the woman that my grandmother is today
My Dear Grandfather always has the best genuine advice
He knows what he is talking about because he has seen it and experienced it enough to know
I am here making a Vow to you grandfather
So grandfather if you are still with me when I get out into the real world
I will always take your advice for I will listen
Of course it’ll always be in my best interest
So for now when my grandfather gives me his advice
I not doubt it nor will I not listen
Because Rooster angles here on earth are never wrong
My life has already been more than blessed simply because of you my
Grandparents
I will always hold you in my hearts and never forget you no matter how old I get
For I truly have the two best grandparents in the world
My family, my grandfather and grandmother, my angles

Love Always,
Your Beloved Granddaughter Catherine Ann

My hope for you the reader is that once you have read this poem, you yourself will reflect on those who mean the most to you. Along with that you'll let them know through your own ways how much they really mean to you.
