One day I sat upon my roof,
Heard the sound of clattering hooves.
A dorkey young donkey came ‘round the bend,
He came up to me as if I were a friend.

The donkey then smiled, exposing his teeth,
His messy hair giving him grief.
He stumbled along, a strange little dance,
He looked rather funny, with ants in his pants.

With a happy expression, he waddled away,
Down the street and across the way.
About all of this, I have one thing to say:
That little donkey sure made my day!
