Metrophobia
Darn! Poems are so boring,
And now I have to write,
I’d rather stay at home,
Watching the Blockbuster Fight.
Don’t tell me the sky is the limit,
When there is a footprint on the moon,
The future doesn’t look any brighter,
Ask me again in June.
Barack Obama is in Office,
He seems to be alright,
First African American Pres.,
Some would say “That’s Tight.”
Now I’ll end this here poem,
With a somewhat obvious rhyme,
Don’t ask me to write another poem,
It’s just a waste of my time.
