Favorite Quote:
"I hope you don't forget that giving up decisively counts as courage." - AGUST D

Trapped, trapped

In a space so small

Trapped, trapped

Yet it’s so tall

Reach, reach

Yet you’re so small

Reach, reach

You wish you could climb the walls

Screach, screach

It echoes then it falls

Screach, screach

There’s nobody to call

Wail, wail

It gnaws at your sanity

Wail, wail

Laying there, among humanity

The author's comments:

This piece is about being trapped and all alone in a world so vast, yet so suffocating. One can try to call for help, but some just never get the help they want and need. No one will help them, and they're are stuck, stuck to deal with every passing torturous day. People can intperpret this poem anyway they like, for there are multiple ways one can feel isolation and/or loneliness.
