Alone
In the dark
Looking up at the stars
Wishing
Dreaming
Wanting
Waiting
For you
For the light
Spinning
Farther and farther
Into the darkness
Waiting to be swallowed whole
Or spit back up
Into the fringe
of the darkness
But nothing happens
I just get tired
Tired of all the
sleepless nights
Alone
Away
Apart
Different
I reach for you
But my grip is weak
And you slip free
I slide back into the
Darkness
And wish I could be saved
