One Heart; Two Worlds
With his sparkling blue eyes and breathtaking smile...
He had me hooked.
With his mesmerizing words...
He had me bound.
With his binding words...
He had me believing.
Everyone told me all he said was lies...
I didn't believe them.
Not soon after they said all of this...
It happened.
I still believed him over them.
Soon I fell into a deep dark void...
I couldn't climb back out.
Now I sit here wondering why I never believed them...
I sit here saying through choking sobs...
"the hardest thing to do is fall in love"
When, not that far down did I know:
'The hardest thing to do is love someone who doesn't love you back'.
He stole my heart before I realized he did...
Now he has part of it and I can't get it back.
After I realize this...
I realize also... the hardest thing is...
"Loving someone who doesn't love you back."
