A Teammate
A friend, a classmate, a companion, and sometimes an enemy,
Someone you spend every day with for hours upon hours.
A person who understands you when you’re frustrated,
Someone you share you laughter, blood, sweat, and tears with.
Someone you get up early with to go to practice or a game,
who brings you up, and tells you to never back down when you make a mistake.
The person or people who make early practices,
and late night games worthwhile.
People who cheer you on, every time you are up to bat,
shooting a foul shot, fielding a ball, or scoring a goal.
Your support group, your family, your life,
A Teammate.
