Broken
There was a crushing weight on her shoulders, a weight of grief and fear that se could not hope to support alone. She feels like her heart just broke into a million little pieces, like it fell from her chest and shattered on the floor. Tears flood her eyes, as hurt fills her body. Apologetically she screams, "NO!" wishing to reach out and touch him just one more time. "What have I done?" She pleads, "What have I done to deserve such hurt?!" But it's as if she's all alone, no one answers but her helpless echo.
