my elevated inspiration

we don't have to,
talk much, dance much,
or do much of anything

but if it ends in pain, don't find me in the wrong

don't test my limits,
push me, make me
or even try to convince me

I have a capacity for more than you could ever imagine

I don't want another
naive mind, lustful mind,
or inadequate lover

I have had my fair share of mind-numbing experiences

see my world
take it, shake it
and turn into something new

take my fears
chase them, conquer them,
and refresh my everything

And if it ends in pain, we can find no one in the wrong
