The waves surround me
Crashing on the shore
I am alone
No one is beside me
Sand sinks through my toes
And is my only comfort
I look around
The sea is empty
No boats
No life
Just me, Alone
Now as I look
I realize I am not alone
There is one who always stands by my side
One who never leaves me
Not my shadow and not my footprints
He is greater than that
He is my friend
Who will never leave me or forsake me
As the waves surround me
And crash on the shore
I know I am not alone
I am safe in his arms
