Writers' block sucks
I can't think of anything to write
My mind goes a mile a minute like I'm running down the street as fast as a cheetah

I continue to travel

Unfortunately, there is no destination in mind

Then suddenly

There is a goal

As I run faster
It gets closer

Closer

Closer

Finally, The End is in sight

I feel the sense of accomplishment as I continue to run
I'm not there yet
I must continue to push onward
And give it everything I've got

The only thing I want
Is

The End

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem in my writer's class. I was complaining to my teacher about writer's block and how I was extremely frustrated with it, and then I remembered from Stephen King's book On Writing, that the best thing to do when you have writer's block, is to keep writing. So I began to writing, and I came out with this amazing poem, that I got an A on. I think it is wonderful.
