Life as a Frog

I once was a frog
that sat on a log
in the middle of a bog
One day a fly
caught my eye
and I chased and chased it all day
until I caught that fly
an as I my marvelous meal
along came Mr. Magruver the eel
so I ran and I ran
for he wanted to eat me
but alas I tell you this poem from his belly
because that is the life of a frog
