My icy lips quiver as I speak to you
Watching my breath in front of me
I can see you, amongst the mist
The warmth of the day cannot warm
The chill that lingers in my bones
Or my rigid fingertips
And my frostbitten tongue
I wish I could cure you
So you can cure me
I wish I could be numb
And not feel the chill of your cold heart
As you walk away from me
