Maze
It has only been a couple of days
But I just can’t seem to get you off my mind
Like being trapped in an endless maze
Hands tied back and left blind
To feel my way around the changing walls,
Acquaint myself with the loneliest night
Anger has tears crashing like Niagara falls
My lefts and wrongs will never make a right
As I grope in this bitter darkness
And I claw at this penitentiary
Where these problems are left to self address
The answer is suddenly clear, it’s me.
I am the cancer in remission.
I was the fatal disease.
So this will be the price I pay,
So you can rest in ease.
