Looking at the gleaming screen,
Staring right back at me.
Shaking words are frequent
I can’t bear it no longer
I could break it in half.
Away I am turned rotating
To look past into the rest
A creaking chair and
In return to the ground
Laying on top,
Clumps of attire
Scattered and pushed
Like the blankets
A crumpling paper
Sitting at the end
Papers scattered smoothly
Displaying my duty
My fingers spread out
Across the keyboard
Exposed to the cold
Like a stray
The keys click into the panel,
Digging and engraving its letters
Focussed, tuning out
Faint mumbling and hissing
Lying beyond the walls.
