Congratulations and Goodbye
One last time to see all of you.
A last time to break away from your facade and show your true colors.
Separate from your group, and show me your face.
Let your feelings show, because it is the last chance you have.
Let the tears fall, don't try to fight it back.
Tomorrow is on it's way and this is the last moment you have.
Walk across that stage, don't run, savor it.
Remember the moment, and remember the past.
Some of you know me.
Some of you may have never seen me before,
But know that I will be your friend if you are willing.
Know that I am praying for you and wish you the best of luck on your next chapter.
We all have dreams.
Crazy as it may seem, we reach for them.
Maybe not for the stars but for that one desperation.
The time has come to grab what you want.
As scary as it may be, we all have to do it.
You know that we have to go.
So fight the light, and live this night because tomorrow, it's still coming and I don't want to lose you.
It will take us all away and force us to say goodbye.
That morning sun- it's way to close.
Who knows where you will be in 20 years, who knows where I will be.
We always think that life is so standard, and that it would last forever.
But were moving on, and there is no way to stop it.
Go ahead and cry, you know you are blue.
You're a grownup now.
Don't be scared, but it's time to go.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself,
So promise to keep your friendships strong,
And live this next part to the fullest.
While I don't want to leave, I think about tomorrow, and hope it will be just as good as today.
Good things don't always have good endings, but they can bring great beginnings.
I want to look at my shadow and smile, and remember you.
Remember my town. Remember my Team.
My one town, one team.
Its time to go now,
So write in my yearbook and sign your name,
Because that could be the last I see of you.
Ta ta for now.
Congratulations and Goodbye
