Quiet Stillness

There is a place she runs to,
Away from the shadows and lies,
Where she’s secluded from the world.
It is a place of pure serenity,
Of everlasting harmony,
Of picture perfect peace.
Beyond the border of reality,
The sands of time cease their flow,
And the darkness disappears.
Surrounded by soft light,
In this realm of happiness,
She is blissfully alone.
With her doubts and fears shushed,
Her insecurities pushed aside,
Her mind is filled with silence.
She smiles to herself,
For in the quiet stillness,
She is finally able to breathe.
