One led a run through a thousand fields
They take down everything in their way
And move astray past that lighted hay
Fled ahead with the light of steel
With one strength to rule the other
He cannot control his need
The pulse of speed is not his weakness
His heart beats for another

Poem based on the story of Samson, Judges. "Temptations, when we meet them at first, are as the lion that roared upon Samson; but if we overcome them, the next time we see them we shall find a nest of honey within them" -John Bunyan
