One mistake.
One dumb decision.
One misplaced hand
and the cheerleader falls.
One flinch when pulling
the block out
and the tower
tumbled.
They say
you should follow
your heart, but
the brain
has the logic.
It was screaming
that I was going
the wrong way.
It’s over.
Done with.
He is hers and now
she’ll never forgive me.
One kiss.
One twitch.
One heart.
One stupid heart.
