Love Is

They say,
We are young yet.
Too young to know what love is?
What is love?
I’m not sure anyone has a for sure reply.
As I lay in my bed,
I ponder in my head,
What it means to me.
Love holds many meaning,
Many reasons.
So I thought,
Why do I love you?
Love can hold so many forms,
Which form belongs to you?
So I pondered deeper.
And I decided,
I love you for your touch.
I love you for your sweet sent.
I love you for your rough but smooth voice.
I love you for your heartbeat keeping me alive.
Can I count all my reasons for loving you?
No.
For I love you too much,
Too much maybe?
Are we not old enough?
Are we not capable of holding this feeling in our heart?
It is much like happiness,
A sweet metallic bliss,
Much like your kiss.
Looking out my window,
Looking at the stars.
Making each one ours,
Matching each one with a reason,
Why we are so perfect together.
You are a song playing in my head,
So soft and faultless,
Like silk.
Is this not love?
I hope it is.
But if you ask why?
All of the above,
My love. <3
