Bit by Bit
The hardest thing I’ve had to do,
Inevitably involved you.
To have to turn and walk away,
And pretend I have nothing to say.
To never hear your voice again,
You’ll never know the tears I’ve shed-
To have to pretend that I dint care,
I never cared, that your not there.
And when I cry myself to sleep,
Knowing that the wound you made is far too deep,
To heal with time,
I’ll never be ‘fine’
And so my dear,
I want you to hear
About the damage you’ve done
I’m sure you had fun.
So I’ll summon my strength
At any length,
And I will cry,
And I will die.
As my heart falls apart piece by piece.
