Waves Winding Up Ashore

The call of seagulls here to stay

That ocean breeze I calmingly endure &

Adore with very summer escape

Sunshine Rising At The Edge Of The Horizon

Brings light to another day on this tranquilizing paradise

Looking out at ease I take in the sounds & sights

Undisturbed before all start to dive In

Then Blazing Heat From The Overhead Sun

Meeting umpteen umbrellas like an oven filled with cinnabons

I bring a Cooler to keep present & replenish within

Enjoying the noon summer sand with my toes sinking down in

Then Afternoon arrives & the calming nature remains

Until cowbells ring for ice cream & I storm over like a train

The sound of the tide coming crashing down becomes loudest

As I soak in the suns’ rays peacefully & soundless

Then the Glorious Flaming & Tropical Sunset dawns serenely

The scenery a warm bath for my stressed mind

Cleansing my soul with it’s reclined nature smoothly

I let it’s restfulness inside my core & gently unwind

By Nightfall the darkness sets in

The crabs come to play encrusted within the porous sands’ skin

With each step I hesitantly scan making my way to the shoreline

Reaching a sight of the moonlight reflecting upon the waters as I goodnight
