Happiness describes our friendship,

We laughed, we cried, we told each other secrets no one else knew.

He was my everything and I was his world.

He was my best friend.

It was a bond you wouldn’t see in a high school relationship,

We couldn’t keep our eyes off each other.

He was the half that made me whole.

He was my best friend.

We came from two different groups.

A backwoods boy and a fairytale princess.

It was difficult, but we realized our differences made us stronger.

He was my best friend.

Years and years went by and we grew to one another.

We learned our similarities and loved our differences.

Our opposites made us closer than ever.

He was my best friend.

We made our mistakes as any couple would,

But the friendship kept getting stronger.

It was at that moment when I realized,

Adam was my best friend.

The nights we spent gazing into those gray hazel eyes,

That’s when I knew, we would always be best friends.

He was my everything and I was his world.

Adam was my best friend.
