If I knew now what I would in more time
Would I slow down and enjoy the present?
With another chance, would all my poems rhyme?
Would I chase all my gifts and great talents?
My mistakes would be erased from my life,
All accidents would soon be deleted,
I would quickly forget my former strife,
My second shot would be more completed.
But if everything was spelled out for me,
Like an unclouded map to my future,
Would I dream of that path being hazy,
Letting me discover my own treasure?
No, I don’t wish to know more than my years
‘cause then, what’s the point of the now and here?
