All I felt was pain
At first all I felt was your love,
It warmed my heart, like something
Cozy sent from above,
The sound of your deep voice, showed me
I had nothing to fear,
The sound of the words coming from
Your mouth made me forever want to stay,
Being with you day after day,
Was all I wanted to do,
The way you had poured out your,
Thoughts and feelings too,
Made me believe everything was true,
I would spend a lot of time,
Waiting for my phone to ring I
Knew the whole time it was you,
Calling me
Then all of a sudden it all would end,
After finding out you of all people,
Had a girlfriend,
After I found out, made me question it all,
Was it real, did it matter at all?
Being with you created feelings,
Buried within me, then became,
A place for my pain, hurt, and misery,
I could feel the knife slash my heart in two,
I seen myself falling apart,
Lonely without you,
It begin to feel like karma or maybe a bad curse
The feelings I had for you were real,
But I had to let it go,
They begin to fade away, and it forced me to move on,
And did hurt to see our friendship end,
But it’s said if it was love,
It’ll be back again,
It all flashed away and was gone to fast,
But life goes on and form new days,
I forgive you and except going,
Our separate ways.
