Empty rosy smiles,
Dull blue-eyed gaze.
Laughter floats on the wind,
His voice nowhere to be found.

Absentminded fingers linger,
Resting upon hollow air.
Grasping at the imaginary,
Mind convinced it’s real.

Muted screams,
Incomprehensible, hate-drenched anger.

Forming violence with gloved hands,
Appeasing conflicted voices in his mind.

How he wants to expose his thoughts,
Yet, no one could ever understand.

The mime bathes in spilled blood,
Unable to convey even a scream.
Misunderstood for the last time,
As appalled crowd stares in disbelief.
