Inside flickering, barely skimming this bottomless pit of despair
A dim reminiscence of a once blazed fire of magnificent beauty and glory
Withering away slowly, solemnly, and alone
Generation of warmth has faded from this place, this flame
Once swollen with a fiery heat fueled by love and compassion
Now constantly fading, fading, fading
The flame dying
Its existence seemingly pointless
Soon the last spark will fade away
As do all things in the loss of hope
The flame is dying
The question remains
Will it live or die
Or shall it just fade to black…
